The Tandrusti Welfare Foundation, with the support of its generous donors, established a 24/7 Ambulance Service for emergency medical assistance at the end of 2024. This service is dedicated to helping the community by providing swift and reliable transportation for patients in need of urgent medical care.
The ambulance operates on a cost-sharing model, where patients only need to cover the fuel cost, while the remaining expenses—such as vehicle maintenance, medical equipment, and staff salaries—are covered by the Friends of Tandrusti, a group of overseas supporters. This initiative ensures that people, especially those from underprivileged backgrounds, have access to affordable emergency transportation when needed
